She'd known she was there all along but kept up with the story until her girl spoke up. Only then did she give a wider grin and look behind her. And Ellie got that smile that had only ever been saved for her. That sparkle in her eyes that said she was happy to see her and had missed her.

"Yeah. It was worth it."

Getting up, she gave a stretch. "Okay, I'm catching up with my girl. Catch you guys later!"

With that, she waved for Ellie to follow her up onto the roof. Not that she waited for her to follow before heading up, of course. It wasn't like they were that polite to each other.
