Maybe he was tired and just needed to sit down and rest. It must have been the shock of being in entirely new place after the last thing he remembered. Yet- there was another glimpse and he was finding it difficult to convince himself that it was just something he was imagining.
He finally turned around to meet his father's gaze directly. He had hoped that the glimpses were not his mind playing tricks on him but it was another thing to be confronted by him so directly.
