What: The MINGLE LOG for Week One of the Asgard Eventide Reunion!

Rating: PG-13 tops! Anything higher than that should be taken to a private log, please.

[ OOC NOTES: Whether you're making a return to the city or this is your first time setting foot into Asgard, the gods and Natives alike sure are happy to see you. This is a catch-all mingle log for Week One! Please check HERE for a run-down on what's cookin' this week. You can feel free to make your own headers, create your own events, or post your own logs elsewhere as you please. Please put [OPEN/CLOSED] along with the time/location of your character in the title of your comment.

As a note: we were super fortunate to have a few of our old NPC handlers volunteer to pick up their old Gods for the reunion! We currently have Hel, Heimdall, Baldr, Thor, Freyr, Mimir, Honir, Asgard!Loki, and also Frigg available for threading. If you'd like to request an appearance from one of these kids, please say so in the title of your comment. Some of us may make our own top-level as well, so be on the lookout for that! A million thanks to our NPC team for being so fantastic, we love and appreciate you so much.

Ianto had been wandering himself, truth be told. Not exactly knowing his destination, but he shouldn't have been surprised that upon finding himself back here, when placing one foot in front of the other it would have led him back to this place as well. And the general vicinity of where his home here used to be. He isn't sure he has a home anywhere anymore, truth be told, but he's going to try hard not to think too much of that for now at least. He's been given what amounts to a fourth chance, which is practically unheard of. So he's got to make the best of what he has, for as long as he can.

He turns to the voice addressing him and it takes him a moment to place her -- life, if you could call it that, where he had come from before his return to Asgard hadn't exactly been easy. It had't exactly been much of anything. But he knows her voice, and her face, and after a moment he even remembers her name.

"I suppose that depends on when it's stopped feeling that way as well," he responds, the shy quirking of a smile on his face as he does, as he hopes that she remembers him in turn.

It takes her a moment, but her memory eventually sparks and she finds herself smiling in return over at him. "Hello, Ianto." She decides to have a reunion over discussing the feeling of home, since the topic strikes a little too close to home after recent events.

"It's odd to be back here again, isn't it? After so much time...makes you wonder why so many of us are popping back in like this."

She's not frustrated to be here, and doesn't sound bothered by the fact she is. She's grateful for the opportunity to get to see the place that brought her so much happiness and fond memories.

Ianto sidles up beside her, sticking his hands in the pockets of his suit pants and rocking on his feet slightly as he glances across the space in front of them, before turning to Clara herself.

"It is rather odd, I won't deny. But I'm not complaining, personally. Don't know if I really want to know why I'm back either, for that matter." He shrugs slightly. "Unwrapping the mystery. It might give an answer as to how long it might last. Not sure I'd really like to know, truth be told."
