What: The MINGLE LOG for Week One of the Asgard Eventide Reunion!

Rating: PG-13 tops! Anything higher than that should be taken to a private log, please.

[ OOC NOTES: Whether you're making a return to the city or this is your first time setting foot into Asgard, the gods and Natives alike sure are happy to see you. Please put [OPEN/CLOSED] along with the time/location of your character in the title of your comment.

As a note: we were super fortunate to have a few of our old NPC handlers volunteer to pick up their old Gods for the reunion! We currently have Hel, Heimdall, Baldr, Thor, Freyr, Mimir, Honir, Asgard!Loki, and also Frigg available for threading. If you'd like to request an appearance from one of these kids, please say so in the title of your comment. Some of us may make our own top-level as well, so be on the lookout for that! A million thanks to our NPC team for being so fantastic, we love and appreciate you so much.

"And where is that that is so barbaric?" he asked, dryly.

"Home, actually." Maglor says dryly.

"Or well... a version of it. Tis Arda, for certain, but... marred somehow. A distant future, perhaps. The lands are desolate, and the only crops we have are those we grow ourselves - and we have only just edged into early spring for first plantings. So... as you can imagine... no tea."

He seems like he's thinking of something in particular, prompted by Maglor's description, but he is also in his own head about it. "Perhaps someone here will get you some seeds," he suggests. "Bring civilisation back to a drying land."

Maglor doesn't press, sure that Brax will tell him if he thinks it relevant.

"You know, I never tried to bring anything back with me, but it is worth a try. Perhaps if I carry seeds in my pocket."

He nods. "The worst that can happen is that it doesn't work."

"Aye - I suppose I should fill my pockets with useful things while I am here. Tea, and perhaps tools... "

"Cake," he smiled. "Biscuits."

[bythewaves]

"Cake I sincerely doubt will travel well!" Maglor chuckles at the thought.

"Biscuits... Perhaps! But I do not fancy the crumbs in my pockets after!"

"Well, you'd wrap them up, wouldn't you?" he points out.

[bythewaves]

"Of course, but they'd still squash!"

'Oh, now you're just looking for problems!"

[bythewaves]

"You are speaking of cake!" Maglor retorts with a laugh. "Cake does not actually fit in pockets without squishing!"

"Nonsense!" he protests before grinning. "I was talking about biscuits."

[bythewaves]

"Oh no" Maglor shakes a finger back at him in amusement. "We were talking of both, you did not specify!"

"You did, though, you were talking about biscuits," he laughs. "Having dismissed the cake."

[bythewaves]

"Ai! Alright, alright, I concede." Maglor chuckles.

"So then - biscuits, and seeds for tea. Anything else you think I should be carrying? These pockets have limited space you know!"

"Do they really? Mine don't," he smirks. "I'll have to think smaller."

[bythewaves]

"I am not a Time Lord with magical pockets." Maglor sniffs back at him.

[becauseichooseto]

"You're an elf, that's no excuse," he chuckles.

[bythewaves]

"Elves do not have dimensionally transcendent technology." Maglor points out wryly.

[becauseichooseto]

"Not according to the stories I've read," he counters.

[bythewaves]

"You have been reading the wrong stories then!" Maglor retorts with a smile.

"For certainly such abilities are not within our scope."

[becauseichooseto]

"How unlucky for you," he smiles back.

[bythewaves]

"But I have friends who do!" Maglor blinks at Brax teasingly. "They just will not tell me how tis done!"

"I don't have the technology with me, alas, you'd have to ask the Doctor," he replies. "He probably has his TARDIS somewhere. If he doesn't." He raises his hands in a shrug. That's that.
