MINGLE LOG: WEEK ONE
Who: Everyone!
What: The MINGLE LOG for Week One of the Asgard Eventide Reunion!
When: March 1-7
Where: Anywhere in town!
Rating: PG-13 tops! Anything higher than that should be taken to a private log, please.
[ OOC NOTES: Whether you're making a return to the city or this is your first time setting foot into Asgard, the gods and Natives alike sure are happy to see you. This is a catch-all mingle log for Week One! Please check HERE for a run-down on what's cookin' this week. You can feel free to make your own headers, create your own events, or post your own logs elsewhere as you please. Please put [OPEN/CLOSED] along with the time/location of your character in the title of your comment.
As a note: we were super fortunate to have a few of our old NPC handlers volunteer to pick up their old Gods for the reunion! We currently have Hel, Heimdall, Baldr, Thor, Freyr, Mimir, Honir, Asgard!Loki, and also Frigg available for threading. If you'd like to request an appearance from one of these kids, please say so in the title of your comment. Some of us may make our own top-level as well, so be on the lookout for that! A million thanks to our NPC team for being so fantastic, we love and appreciate you so much.

Satan | Devilman
[ Satan opened his eyes and he found himself somewhere he didn't expect to ever be again. After all, he had been killed in this world, a punishment for trying to kill everything and everyone by helping Thiazi; last thing he would imagine was to be brought here again.
In truth, when his punishment was carried out and death was given to him, he probably never felt more relieved in his life because he wouldn't have to feel guilt and regret for killing Akira any longer. Except he went back to his world and after thousands of years of torture by the hand of God, Satan did manage to find out that Akira was actually alive, so his guilt and regret was for naught. It's also important to add that he and Akira are together and trying to overthrow God. So Satan's life is actually decent, despite having to fight a being that can't be killed and is a huge sadistic asshole.
Which means he doesn't want to kill anyone. He still doesn't like humans, but at least he won't be trying to destroy this world and all the other worlds. Great stuff.
As he finds himself in the city, surrounded by natives, while he is naked (as usual), Satan is pretty surprised and already considering killing people the moment they realize who he is. But they DO realize it, and that's even stranger because he is supposedly a traitor and they are praising him. And Satan is very used to crowds praising him, but he doesn't want to do this with people he actually tried to erase from existence (their ancestors, at least).
So he will be trying to get away from everyone and using his wings to keep people away as he can because what is wrong with all of you ]
2: Satan's Shrine.

After someone was smart enough to give him clothes, Satan goes back to his familiar place with his Hel district, but he will be regretting that very soon. There, he finds he has his own Shrine where people pray for Satan's forgiveness. And this is even more weird than arriving at Asgard.
He knows humans are known for being idiots, for praising those who hate them, for demanding praise when they don't deserve any, for even building a religion of Satan even though Satan never actually did ANYTHING for humans. But they don't build a shrine with Satan's name on it - not one for an entire city to see and pray on.
He will just shake his head before he makes an amused sound ]
Well, Akira would have something smart to say about this.
3: Avoiding
[ Trying to avoid.
he is not one for celebrations, after all. But Satan remembers this place and though he truly did dislike his time here, he remembers some places, some people. He visits his old bar which is obviously no longer there, he takes the chance to visit the park and he even checks out the castle.
he is quite easy to spot, though he tries not to be seen; after all, Satan does have 12 wings and that's difficult to miss. ]
