What: The MINGLE LOG for Week One of the Asgard Eventide Reunion!

Rating: PG-13 tops! Anything higher than that should be taken to a private log, please.

[ OOC NOTES: Whether you're making a return to the city or this is your first time setting foot into Asgard, the gods and Natives alike sure are happy to see you. Please put [OPEN/CLOSED] along with the time/location of your character in the title of your comment.

As a note: we were super fortunate to have a few of our old NPC handlers volunteer to pick up their old Gods for the reunion! We currently have Hel, Heimdall, Baldr, Thor, Freyr, Mimir, Honir, Asgard!Loki, and also Frigg available for threading. If you'd like to request an appearance from one of these kids, please say so in the title of your comment. Some of us may make our own top-level as well, so be on the lookout for that! A million thanks to our NPC team for being so fantastic, we love and appreciate you so much.

[No judgment there. She had a wry smirk as she made her way over, looking at Freyr with more fondness than she had for most of the gods. Well, he'd been one of the only ones, along with Loki, who'd actually listened to her ravings over the years she'd been in this city.]

How've things been... since we finally left?

[In her case, she'd been one of the last. She'd had an alchemical axe to grind, one that she'd only finally given up on at the last.]

Not at all.

[ there's a smile on his face despite what he says, though, something wide and brilliant and much, much more youthful than anything he'd ever been able to share back when they were holding the Travelers as prisoners in this world.

the fondness in his voice is utterly genuine. ]

Though I wish I could say it were the case. I would have the city like this all the time if it were in my power.

[She laughed a little.] No matter what, most of us have things to do back home. We can't always be here. Still, the vacation isn't such a bad thing for me right now.

[She looked Freyr over, her eyes scanning him for a long time and smiled to herself more than anything. He certainly looked in much better spirits, but then again he'd already looked better when the war had ended and by the time she'd left. A few centuries for a god was a long time to recover.]

You're looking well. Did you ever get hitched? I think you were pledged to the princess, right? Alfheim?

Oh, I'm aware of that. It doesn't mean I can't be a little selfishly grateful to have you all back.

[ though he does look a little saddened and embarrassed by her question at the same time. ]

We were never married, no, but I was quite devoted to her.

[There was a blink, and some obvious surprise when he said that. She cocked her head, looking at him as if she wanted to ask what had happened, but for once she seemed to develop just a little tact.]

I'm... um... I'm actually sorry to hear that, Freyr. You would have been good together.

[asgardsverse]

[ he smiles softly, ticking his eyes back up to her. that was the problem when a god fell in love with an elf. ]

I... heard about Ran too. I think she was still alive when I left. We sort of lost touch. I got so deep in my work. She ... died well, I hope.

Sorry. I'm always a little depressing.
